Door een grondige vlootanalyse werd een besparing van 45 procent bereikt. Bij seizoensgebonden pieken wordt de voorraad op korte termijn aangevuld.<\/p>\n<p>(Hamburg) Het wereldwijd opererende travel-retailbedrijf Gebr. Heinemann schakelt de intralogistiek in zijn logistieke centra over op Jungheinrich-voertuigen. Het bedrijf, dat wereldwijd ongeveer 600 duty-free winkels exploiteert of bevoorraadt, vertrouwt op een flexibele huurvloot die eenvoudig en snel kan worden aangepast aan veranderende behoeften. &#8220;We hebben een partner gezocht die onze heftruckvloot optimaliseert. Met Jungheinrichs &#8216;Rental Fleet Management&#8217; zijn we flexibel, duurzaam en kosteneffici\u00ebnt ingericht,&#8221; zegt Dr. Dirk Schneider, CCO Gebr. Heinemann.<\/p>\n<p>Voor de start van de samenwerking hebben Jungheinrich en Gebr. Heinemann gezamenlijk de bestaande heftruckvloot geanalyseerd. Daarbij werden voertuigen ge\u00efdentificeerd die tot nu toe onderbenut of niet overeenkomstig hun uitrusting werden ingezet. Op basis van deze analyse kon het Jungheinrich-verkoopteam het aantal voertuigen dat bij Gebr. Heinemann wordt ingezet, verminderen van 170 naar 95 - een besparing van ongeveer 45 procent.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Flexibiliteit, veiligheid en transparantie<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Voor seizoensgebonden pieken is de beschikbaarheid van extra machines gepland. Bij onverwachte extra behoeften levert Jungheinrich binnen korte tijd aanvullende heftrucks. Omgekeerd worden voertuigen die niet meer nodig zijn, op korte termijn weer teruggetrokken. Het flexibele systeem voorkomt overcapaciteit en garandeert Gebr. Heinemann, ondanks de drastisch verkleinde vlootgrootte, een hoge beschikbaarheid en vermindert de operationele kosten in de logistieke centra aanzienlijk.<\/p>\n<p>Christian Erlach, lid van de raad van bestuur van Jungheinrich AG: &#8220;Ons Rental Fleet Management biedt flexibiliteit, veiligheid en transparantie en verlaagt tegelijkertijd duurzaam de kosten.
