Hierdoor ontstaat er 25 procent meer capaciteit in het actief temperatuurgecontroleerde netwerk voor medicijntransporten. Dit maakt een landelijke logistieke oplossing voor de distributie van Covid-19-vaccins mogelijk en biedt veel voordelen.<\/p>\n<p>(Weinheim) trans-o-flex ThermoMed, marktleider in de fijne distributie van actief temperatuurgecontroleerde medicijnen bij 2 tot 8 graden Celsius in Duitsland, staat op het punt de uitbreiding van zijn centrale overslag te voltooien en daarmee de capaciteit van zijn gehele netwerk met meer dan 25 procent te verhogen. &#8220;De capaciteitsuitbreiding is een signaal op het juiste moment,&#8221; zegt trans-o-flex-CEO Wolfgang P. Albeck. &#8220;Want momenteel wordt er besproken hoe de logistiek van de Covid-19-vaccins effici\u00ebnter kan worden ingericht. En een mogelijkheid zou zijn om de vaccinverdeling, die tot nu toe door elk van de 16 deelstaten afzonderlijk is georganiseerd, te vervangen door een landelijke uniforme oplossing.&#8221; Volgens Albeck zou trans-o-flex ThermoMed landelijk alle vaccinatiecentra, ziekenhuizen, apotheken en huisartsenpraktijken &#8217;s nachts van vaccins kunnen voorzien. Tot nu toe is het bedrijf uitsluitend in Beieren belast met de distributie van de verschillende Covid-19-vaccins naar de vaccinatiecentra in de Vrijstaat.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Deelstaten samenbrengen voor vaccinlogistiek<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>De voordelen van een landelijk georganiseerde vaccinverdeling zijn voor de trans-o-flex-chef overduidelijk: &#8220;Bij een landelijke distributie via een netwerk daalt de administratieve last voor de opdrachtgevers duurzaam. Want \u00e9\u00e9n oplossing kan voor alle landen worden toegepast. Een effect zou al worden bereikt als twee deelstaten zich samenvoegen. En het effect wordt groter naarmate meer deelstaten zich bij de oplossing aansluiten.&#8221; Bovendien, zo vervolgt Albeck, maakt de landelijke oplossing een uniforme standaard voor de levering in heel Duitsland mogelijk. &#8220;En dat niet alleen bij vaccinatiecentra, maar ook bij apotheken, ziekenhuizen of huisartsenpraktijken, verpleeghuizen en verzorgingshuizen.&#8221; Al deze ontvangers worden bijna dagelijks door trans-o-flex ThermoMed bevoorraad. &#8220;Daarom zou trans-o-flex de vaccins op \u00e9\u00e9n of verschillende locaties in Duitsland kunnen ophalen, de orderverwerking voor de afzonderlijke vaccinatiecentra kunnen uitvoeren en de levering binnen 24 uur kunnen garanderen, indien nodig ook met leveringen voor 8 of 10 uur.&#8221; Niet in de laatste plaats verhoogt de mogelijke bundeling van transporten de benutting van de voertuigen. &#8220;Dat is goed voor het milieu en verlaagt de transportkosten.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Vraag naar medicijntransporten stijgt<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>De vraag naar actief temperatuurgecontroleerde medicijntransporten stijgt al jaren gestaag in heel Europa. &#8220;In andere EU-landen zoals Oostenrijk, Itali\u00eb of Spanje is het al lang standaard, in Duitsland zijn we op de goede weg,&#8221; zegt Albeck. Met de uitbreiding van het knooppunt heeft men tijdig en al v\u00f3\u00f3r de coronapandemie daarop gereageerd. Het is een &#8220;gelukkige omstandigheid&#8221; dat er nu voldoende capaciteitsreserve is om zowel de huidige als de in de toekomst verwachte hoeveelheid vaccins veilig en breed in Duitsland te distribueren. &#8220;Voor dergelijke taken is ons netwerk gemaakt, er is niets vergelijkbaars en we hebben nu reserves voor verdere groei.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>De uitbreiding van de centrale overslag heeft parallel aan de lopende operatie van het sorteercentrum plaatsgevonden. Eerst werd er een extra haldeel aan de bestaande hal toegevoegd. Toen de binnenafwerking van het nieuwe haldeel, inclusief temperatuurmapping en de opbouw van een nieuwe sorteermachine, was voltooid, werd de wand tussen het oude en nieuwe haldeel verwijderd. De haloppervlakte van de centrale overslag groeide zo van 1.300 naar bijna 2.000 vierkante meter, het aantal laadpoorten steeg met 20 naar 41. De nieuwe, volledig geautomatiseerde sorteermachine, waarvan de oplevering de offici\u00eble afronding van de bouwwerkzaamheden zal vormen, heeft de overslagtijd verder verkort.
