In plaats van met de auto wordt de pakketpost milieuvriendelijk met de bakfiets geleverd. Het Franck-gebied bij het station fungeert als een zogenaamd &#8216;microdepot&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>(Ludwigsburg) Microdepots zijn kleine distributiecentra. Ze maken het mogelijk om op een centrale locatie pakketten over te laden op bakfietsen voor de &#8216;laatste mijl&#8217; van de levering. Hierdoor kan de levering door grotere auto&#8217;s en bestelwagens worden vervangen. In Ludwigsburg starten de exploitanten \u2013 de drie logistieke bedrijven DPD, GLS en Hermes \u2013 met elk een elektrische bakfiets op het gezamenlijk gebruikte terrein in het Franck-gebied. Een mogelijke uitbreiding van de vloot is al aangekondigd. Per dag kunnen met een bakfiets ongeveer 100 pakketten aan particuliere eindklanten worden geleverd. De focus van de pakketlevering zal liggen op de Weststad en het stadscentrum.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Microdepot in leegstaand gebouw<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Het concept voor dit pilotproject voor duurzame logistiek is door de drie bedrijven in samenwerking met de stad Ludwigsburg ontwikkeld. Het microdepot zal tot het einde van het jaar een tijdelijke gebruik van een momenteel leegstaand gebouw in het Franck-gebied zijn.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eDoor de coronapandemie wordt de online handel voor velen steeds meer alledaags en het pakketvolume stijgt. Het is belangrijk om te testen hoe de levering van pakketten aan particuliere ontvangers zo soepel en duurzaam mogelijk kan worden afgehandeld \u2013 met minder emissies zoals bijvoorbeeld geluid\u201c, legt Matthias Knobloch, hoofd van de afdeling duurzame mobiliteit, uit. Ook de logistieke partners zien al uit ervaringen in andere steden dat ze met de combinatie van microdepot en wendbare bakfietsen flexibeler en effici\u00ebnter in de dagelijkse operatie kunnen werken.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Stadsontwikkeling bevorderen<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>De stad Ludwigsburg wil dit innovatieve logistieke concept ondersteunen en stelt de ruimtes in het Franck-gebied kosteloos ter beschikking. Daarbij benadrukt burgemeester Dr. Matthias Knecht: \u201eMet dit pilotproject willen we de duurzame logistiek als onderdeel van duurzame mobiliteit en stadsontwikkeling in Ludwigsburg bevorderen.
