De op farmaceutische producten gespecialiseerde expresdienstverlener trans-o-flex heeft het contract met CEO Wolfgang P. Albeck vervroegd verlengd tot 31 maart 2024. Het bedrijf schrijft sinds de komst van Albeck zwarte cijfers en heeft de omzet in 2020 verhoogd tot 515 miljoen euro. Albeck is sinds april 2017 CEO bij trans-o-flex.<\/p>\n

(Weinheim) Wolfgang P. Albeck blijft de komende drie jaar CEO van de op de sectoren farmacie, cosmetica en andere gevoelige goederen gespecialiseerde expresdienstverlener trans-o-flex. Zijn contract, dat nog tot maart 2022 loopt, is vervroegd verlengd tot 31 maart 2024. Albeck is sinds april 2017 voorzitter van de directie. “Het was vooral de implementatie van twee strategische beslissingen, te danken aan Albeck, waardoor trans-o-flex na zware jaren het vertrouwen van zijn klanten heeft herwonnen en zich ook, juist in de coronacrisis, heeft bewezen,” zegt Christoph Schoeller uit de aandeelhouderskring van trans-o-flex, de families Amberger en Schoeller. “Enerzijds was er de compromisloze focus op kwaliteit. Anderzijds is het profiel als expresdienst en als aanbieder van branchespecifieke logistieke oplossingen aangescherpt, waarbij de systeemrelevantie voor de geneesmiddelenvoorziening in Duitsland indrukwekkend is bewezen.” Het bedrijf schrijft sinds de komst van Albeck in de directie weer zwarte cijfers en heeft in het moeilijke coronajaar 2020 de omzet met vier procent verhoogd tot 515 miljoen euro.<\/p>\n

Klaar voor de toekomst<\/strong><\/h5>\n

“Hoe langer ik bij trans-o-flex ben, hoe meer plezier ik heb in het werk hier, omdat ik zie welke vooruitgang we boeken,” zegt Albeck. “Mijn doel is om het bedrijf, dat dit jaar 50 jaar bestaat, zo klaar voor de toekomst te maken dat trans-o-flex ook in de komende 50 jaar zijn klanten, medewerkers en aandeelhouders plezier brengt.” Voor zijn komst bij trans-o-flex was Albeck sinds 1997 bij Deutsche Post DHL (DPDHL) werkzaam in tal van leidinggevende functies binnen de pakket- en expresorganisatie. Daarvoor had de opgeleide expediteur ongeveer tien jaar voor TNT Express gewerkt. Albeck begon zijn carri\u00e8re bij middelgrote expediteurs. Naast Albeck maakt ook Michael Schmidt, die verantwoordelijk is voor financi\u00ebn en administratie, deel uit van de directie van trans-o-flex.
