Scannell Properties uit de VS ontwikkelt voor Amazon in Teutschenthal nabij Halle aan de Saale (Saksen-Anhalt) een logistiek vastgoed. Het project dient voor de last-mile-logistiek van de online retailer. Het vastgoed beslaat ongeveer 6.400 m2. De grondwerken zijn begin januari 2021 gestart en de oplevering is gepland voor de herfst van 2021.<\/p>\n

(Teutschenthal) Scannell Properties, de Amerikaanse vastgoedontwikkelings- en investeringsmaatschappij met vestigingen in Europa, die gespecialiseerd is in grootschalige industrie- en logistieke projecten, ontwikkelt voor de online verzendhandelaar Amazon in Saksen-Anhalt een logistiek vastgoed.
Het logistiek centrum voor de pakketbezorging op de laatste mijl wordt gebouwd in Teutschenthal bij Halle (Saale). Het betreft een build-to-suit-ontwikkeling met ongeveer 4.600 m\u00b2 halruimte en 1.900 m\u00b2 kantoor- en sociale ruimte. Het perceel bevindt zich in het bedrijventerrein van de gemeente Teutschenthal, op ongeveer 15 minuten rijden van de grote stad Halle (Saale). <\/p>\n

Bouwactiviteiten beginnen medio februari<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Al begin januari 2021 zijn de grondwerken gestart, zodat de bouwactiviteiten medio februari naadloos kunnen aansluiten. De oplevering en ingebruikname zijn gepland voor de herfst van 2021.
De vastgoedontwikkelaar hecht veel waarde aan een flexibele inrichting bij de uitvoering. Bovendien omvat het bouwproject uitgebreide maatregelen voor een zo milieuvriendelijk en emissiearm mogelijk gebruik van het vastgoed. Scannell Properties streeft het gouden certificaat van de Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Nachhaltiges Bauen (DGNB) na, het dak van de installatie zal bovendien worden uitgerust met een zonnepaneleninstallatie.
Robert Viegers, vice-president van Amazon Logistics in Duitsland, commentarieert de ontwikkeling als volgt: \u201eWe zijn erg blij om een distributiecentrum in Teutschenthal te openen, waar meer dan 20 jaar logistieke expertise, technologische vooruitgang en investeringen in de transportinfrastructuur in zijn gestoken. Zo profiteren Amazon-klanten van snellere en flexibele leveringsopties.\u201c <\/p>\n

Ook de politiek is blij<\/strong><\/h5>\n

De burgemeester, Tilo Eigendorf, is bijzonder verheugd over de vestiging van de online verzendhandelaar: \u201eHet is een belangrijk signaal voor onze locatie en de regio dat een bedrijf als Amazon zich hier vestigt. De oprichting van de logistieke eenheid is een mijlpaal in de commerci\u00eble ontwikkeling van onze gemeente.\u201c
