De dienst wordt aangeboden aan Aziatische en Europese e-commercebedrijven. De focus van de nieuwe oprichting ligt op de toenemende activiteiten op de Zijderoute.<\/p>\n<p>(Lauterach\/Shanghai) Gebr\u00fcder Weiss richt samen met de Chinese logistiek dienstverlener Global Freight System (GFS) het samenwerkingsverband &#8220;Gebr\u00fcder Weiss Express China&#8221; op, dat gespecialiseerd is in pakkettransport tussen China en Europa. Gebr\u00fcder Weiss houdt 65 procent van de aandelen in de joint venture met hoofdkantoor in Shanghai. &#8220;Door de groeiende online handel nemen ook de pakketzendingen tussen Azi\u00eb en Europa continu toe,&#8221; zegt Lothar Thoma, lid van de directie bij Gebr\u00fcder Weiss. &#8220;We bundelen nu onze expertise in Europa en Azi\u00eb en richten ons met dit nieuwe aanbod zowel op de Aziatische als de Europese e-commercebedrijven.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h5>Nieuwe Zijderoute<\/h5>\n<p>Met de oprichting van de joint venture versterkt Gebr\u00fcder Weiss opnieuw zijn activiteiten op de Nieuwe Zijderoute. Het bedrijf heeft vestigingen en kantoren op 19 belangrijke verkeersknooppunten in de regio Groot-China en is ook in Kazachstan, Oezbekistan, Rusland, Georgi\u00eb en Armeni\u00eb met eigen locaties aanwezig.
