Dachser heeft in Finland een nieuwe logistieke terminal in gebruik genomen. Met zijn eerste cross-dock-faciliteit in Kerava, in de regio Helsinki, breidt de logistieke dienstverlener zijn diensten op de Finse markt uit. Het nieuwe filiaal ligt bovendien gunstig ten opzichte van de haven van Vuosaari en de luchthaven van Helsinki.<\/p>\n

(Kempten\/Kerava) Het nieuwe landvervoerfiliaal van Dachser in Finland is in september van start gegaan. De faciliteit beschikt over een overslaghal van 4.000 vierkante meter en ongeveer 600 vierkante meter kantoorruimte. Dachser verwerkt in de nieuwe terminal alle import- en exportzendingen en verzorgt zelf de distributie in de gehele regio Helsinki. In dit stedelijke gebied zijn veel Finse bedrijven gevestigd. De nabijheid van de snelweg E75, de haven van Vuosaari en de luchthaven zorgt voor een goede verkeersverbinding.<\/p>\n

“Met onze nieuwe, ruime ruimtes en de eigen stadsvervoersorganisatie kunnen we onze klanten in Finland de hoge kwaliteitsnormen van Dachser bieden. Tegelijkertijd verbinden we het land optimaal met ons krachtige Europese landvervoernetwerk,” zegt Tuomas Leimio, Managing Director, European Logistics, Dachser Finland Oy.<\/p>\n

Betrouwbare bevoorrading<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Door de coronacrisis is ook in Finland de logistieke sector sterker in de publieke belangstelling gekomen. “We hebben juist in de crisis onze betrouwbaarheid indrukwekkend bewezen en aangetoond dat we de bevoorradingszekerheid van Finland kunnen ondersteunen,” vervolgt Leimio. “Door de nauwe samenwerking met onze collega’s wereldwijd wisten we al vroeg welke impact de crisis op de toeleveringsketens kan hebben. Dit was voor ons en onze klanten hier in Finland van groot nut, want we konden ons snel aanpassen aan de nieuwe uitdagingen en de operatie altijd stabiel houden.”<\/p>\n

Dachser in Finland<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Dachser Finland Oy werd in 2014 opgericht als een joint venture van Dachser en de ACE Logistics Group. De ACE Logistics Group, met hoofdkantoor in Tallinn (Estland), bezit 50 procent van de aandelen in de joint venture en is een langdurige netwerkpartner in het landvervoer van Dachser in de Baltische staten. Daarnaast heeft Dachser Air & Sea Logistics vier locaties in Finland.<\/p>\n
