KG gebruikt sinds kort een nieuw, slim systeem voor het monitoren van transporten in de nacht. Met het aan de telematica van de voertuigen gekoppelde Customer Control Center kan het Swabische transportbedrijf de nauwkeurigheid van zijn nachtelijke processen optimaliseren.<\/p>\n<p>(M\u00fchlacker) \u2013 De tool registreert in real-time waar een vrachtwagen zich bevindt en controleert automatisch de route en het schema, zodat medewerkers van de nachtdienst alleen nog actief hoeven te worden bij afwijkingen. Momenteel zijn bijna 65 Duitse en ongeveer vijf Roemeense ritten per nacht proefmatig aan de nieuwe oplossing gekoppeld. Een uitbreiding van deze nieuwe workflow naar de gehele Craiss-groep is gepland voor 2021.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eHet Customer Control Center brengt rust en een hogere nauwkeurigheid in onze nachtelijke processen en cre\u00ebert daardoor nog meer vertrouwen bij de klanten\u201c, zegt Torsten Kurfi\u00df, afdelingshoofd Transport bij de Albert Craiss GmbH &amp; Co. KG. Tussen 22.00 uur en 6.00 uur worden momenteel geselecteerde transporten in Duitsland en Roemeni\u00eb met de nieuwe trackingtool gemonitord. Vertragingen, bijvoorbeeld door files of pech, worden gecategoriseerd in een verkeerslichtsysteem en kunnen tot op de minuut nauwkeurig worden voorspeld en aan de klant doorgegeven. Bovendien kan er met de software direct contact met de chauffeur worden opgenomen.<\/p>\n<p>De tot nu toe ontvangen feedback van de klanten is uiterst positief. \u201eMet het Customer Control Center profiteren de verladers niet alleen van een verhoogde planningszekerheid, maar kunnen zij ook gebruikmaken van een uitgebreide verzekering voor de goederen\u201c, zegt Kurfi\u00df.
