Transporeon sluit zich aan bij de Europese Allianz ALICE en ondersteunt de ontwikkeling van duurzame logistiek. Met het lidmaatschap wordt Transporeon het eerste Transport Management System (TMS)-bedrijf binnen de alliantie. Een duidelijk doel van ALICE is om tegen 2050 een klimaatneutrale logistiek te cre\u00ebren.<\/p>\n

(Ulm) Transporeon heeft met de toetreding tot de Europese Allianz ALICE een belangrijke stap gezet in zijn strategie ter ondersteuning van duurzame logistiek. ALICE - Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration in Europe - biedt een branchebrede platform voor innovaties in toeleveringsketens in Europa. De alliantie ondersteunt de uitvoering van het EU-onderzoeksprogramma Horizon 2020 en het opvolgingsprogramma Horizon Europe. Een duidelijk doel van het ALICE-initiatief is om tegen 2050 een klimaatneutrale logistiek te cre\u00ebren.<\/p>\n

Met de toetreding tot dit initiatief wordt Transporeon het eerste Transport Management System (TMS)-bedrijf binnen de alliantie. Andere ALICE-leden zijn onder andere verladers en detailhandelsbedrijven, vervoerders, voertuigfabrikanten, havens, transportknooppunten, infrastructuurproviders, IT-consultants, onderzoeksorganisaties en verschillende nationale en internationale verenigingen.<\/p>\n

Alice ontwikkelt uitgebreide strategie voor logistieke innovaties<\/h5>\n

Sinds 2013 werkt ALICE aan het ontwikkelen van een uitgebreide strategie voor logistieke innovaties op EU-, nationaal en regionaal niveau. Het platform ondersteunt en adviseert ook de Europese Commissie bij de uitvoering van haar onderzoeks- en innovatieprogramma met betrekking tot de logistieke sector. ALICE wil bovendien de logistieke effici\u00ebntie van de EU tegen 2030 met 10% tot 30% verhogen. Dit zou een kostenbesparing van 100 tot 300 miljard euro voor de Europese industrie betekenen.<\/p>\n

De leden werken gezamenlijk in vijf thematische groepen die zich op verschillende strategische gebieden concentreren. Transporeon zal zijn expertise als aanbieder van digitale platforms inbrengen in de themagroep “Systemen & Technologie\u00ebn voor verbonden logistiek”.<\/p>\n

“We zijn blij en trots om ons bij dit belangrijke Europese initiatief aan te sluiten,” zei Stephan Sieber, CEO van Transporeon. “Digitalisering speelt een cruciale rol in het effici\u00ebnter maken van transportlogistiek en het bijdragen aan de vermindering van emissies. We kijken ernaar uit om de sector te ondersteunen bij het banen van de weg naar een emissievrije toekomst. De uitdagingen zijn enorm, maar het is onze gezamenlijke verantwoordelijkheid om ze aan te pakken.”<\/p>\n

“Het is geweldig om Transporeon aan boord te hebben,” merkte ALICE-secretaris-generaal Fernando Liesa op. “De uitdaging zal zijn om onze ambitieuze klimaatdoelen te bereiken door een naadloze overgang. Met zijn expertise op het gebied van cloud computing en datagestuurde technologie\u00ebn speelt Transporeon een belangrijke rol in deze inspanningen.”<\/p>\n
