(Praag\/M\u00fcnchen) De Tsjechische start-up BattSwap heeft Wolfgang Lehmacher (foto) benoemd tot adviseur. Hiermee ondersteunt de ervaren logistiek expert gericht een technische innovatie die de logistiek en het transport duurzamer kan maken. “Elektrische voertuigen hebben alleen een toekomst als ze winstgevend en effici\u00ebnt kunnen worden ingezet. Dit vereist een passende actieradius en een continue beschikbaarheid van de voertuigen,” ziet Lehmacher de markt voor elektrische voertuigen. <\/p>\n

Lange acculaden tijden verminderen<\/h5>\n

Het in 2015 door Radek Janku opgerichte Tsjechische start-up BattSwap heeft een innovatieve techniek ontwikkeld waarmee batterijen van elektrische auto’s binnen een minuut kunnen worden verwisseld. Vlootbeheerders kunnen zo kiezen voor bedrijfsvoertuigen met kleinere batterijen, die in de aanschaf goedkoper zijn. Tegelijkertijd vervallen dure stilstandtijden van het voertuig, omdat de batterijen buiten het voertuig worden opgeladen. “Lange acculaden tijden kan geen vervoerder zich veroorloven,” aldus Lehmacher. “BattSwap pakt dit probleem aan en biedt een kosteneffectieve, doordachte oplossing. Daarom ben ik overtuigd van de succesvolle toekomst van de start-up.” Wolfgang Lehmacher, geboren in 1960, is logistiek expert en adviseert verschillende belanghebbenden in de gehele sector, van start-ups tot Fortune 50-bedrijven. Als business angel investeert hij bovendien gericht in duurzame start-ups zoals BattSwap. Gedurende zijn carri\u00e8re heeft Lehmacher al talrijke leidinggevende posities bekleed in de expeditiesector, expresdiensten, post- en dienstverleningssector, onder andere als directeur, hoofd van de supply chain en transportsector van het World Economic Forum in Gen\u00e8ve en New York.
