De KEP-logistiek Night Star Express breidt zijn aanwezigheid in de regio Leipzig\/Halle uit en betrekt in Kabelsketal een nieuwe hal van ongeveer 2.000 vierkante meter. Vanwege de verdere groei was de uitbreiding dringend nodig.<\/p>\n

(Unna\/Kabelsketal) Night Star Express breidt zijn locatie uit in de regio Leipzig\/Halle en betrekt een nieuwe hal van ongeveer 2.000 vierkante meter in Kabelsketal. “De vergroting van de locatie was al langer gepland en dringend nodig”, zegt Matthias Hohmann, directeur van Night Star Express. “We hebben de afgelopen maanden veel klanten gewonnen die een groot verzendvolume hebben. We zijn al een tijdje op zoek naar grotere hallen in heel Duitsland die aan onze eisen voldoen. Helaas is de zoektocht niet zo eenvoudig. Des te meer zijn we blij met de betrokkenheid van de nieuwe hal in Kabelsketal!”<\/span><\/p>\n

Grotere locaties in heel Duitsland gezocht<\/span><\/b><\/h5>\n

Aangezien het bedrijf europaweit actief is, worden grotere locaties in elke regio van Duitsland gezocht. “Bij dit alles is de verbinding ook bijzonder belangrijk”, legt Matthias Hohmann uit. “Niet alleen de verbinding met de klant is belangrijk, maar ook de aansluiting op onze overslagbedrijven. Door ons dichtgespannen lijnennet zijn we in staat om ook op korte termijn op veranderingen te reageren. Hierdoor kunnen we flexibel opereren, wat we vaak ook moeten. We halen de goederen van onze klanten ’s avonds of ’s middags op en leveren ze uiterlijk om 8 uur ’s ochtends. Als je zo’n snelle service aanbiedt, moet je soms ook ’s nachts of de dag ervoor op wijzigingen in de verkeerssituatie of de zendinghoeveelheden reageren.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Verkeersgunstige ligging<\/span><\/b><\/h5>\n

De locatie in Kabelsketal ligt strategisch gunstig nabij het knooppunt A9\/A14 en dus ook niet ver van de huidige locatie in Krostitz. Kai Michalik, depotmanager voor de locaties Kabelsketal en Klipphausen, legt uit: “Al medio vorig jaar viel de beslissing om te verhuizen. We konden op de oude locatie nog voldoen aan het zendingvolume, maar in de nieuwe hal hebben we optimale omstandigheden.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Night Star Express is een samenwerking van zes logistieke aandeelhouders. De locatie in Kabelsketal wordt beheerd door het oprichterslid Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.<\/span><\/p>\n
