Una misura centrale \u00e8 lo sviluppo di soluzioni di retrofit per quattro navi con una capacit\u00e0 di 13.000 TEU ciascuna. Questa iniziativa \u00e8 considerata dall&#8217;azienda uno dei progetti di modernizzazione pi\u00f9 significativi per la flotta a noleggio temporaneo congiunta di Seaspan e Maersk.<\/p>\n<p>I retrofit previsti comprendono diverse modifiche tecniche. Tra queste, l&#8217;installazione di un generatore di onde, che dovrebbe ridurre il consumo di carburante ausiliario, e un&#8217;ottimizzazione delle prestazioni del motore principale. Inoltre, sar\u00e0 installata una nuova elica ad alta efficienza e sar\u00e0 aggiunto un dispositivo di pre-torsione per migliorare l&#8217;efficienza di propulsione.
