Con questa nuova infrastruttura, la compagnia di navigazione potr\u00e0 fornire energia elettrica alle sue navi su entrambi i lati del Fehmarnbelt, come comunicato. In totale, sono stati posati 11 chilometri di cavi elettrici dalla stazione di trasformazione di Burg fino al porto dei traghetti, per garantire la necessaria capacit\u00e0 di collegamento di 15 MW.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;installazione della torre di ricarica \u00e8 ora completata e messa in funzione. Pertanto, Puttgarden \u00e8 pronta, secondo Scandilines, a fornire energia elettrica ai traghetti dell&#8217;azienda. Dallo scorso marzo, un collegamento simile \u00e8 attivo nel porto di R\u00f8dby. Questo \u00e8 stato introdotto insieme all&#8217;entrata in servizio del traghetto merci &#8222;The Baltic Whale&#8220; sulla rotta Puttgarden-R\u00f8dby.<\/p>\n<p>&#8222;The Baltic Whale&#8220; \u00e8 considerato da Scandilines uno dei pi\u00f9 grandi traghetti al mondo che possono essere alimentati esclusivamente con energia elettrica. Grazie alla possibilit\u00e0 di ricaricare il traghetto sia a R\u00f8dby che a Puttgarden, il tempo di ricarica in ciascun porto pu\u00f2 essere ridotto a 12-15 minuti.
