Lo ha dichiarato Chris Daniels, Chief Commercial Officer di Global K9 (GK9), durante il Multimodal a Birmingham.<\/p>\n<p>Daniels ha sottolineato che l&#8217;attuale regolamentazione non consente di controllare i motori degli aerei nel Regno Unito tramite squadre di cani certificate. Pertanto, queste spedizioni devono spesso essere trasportate su strada verso aeroporti belgi (Liegi e Bruxelles), dove i controlli con i cani sono consentiti secondo le normative europee. Dopo il controllo in Europa, i carichi possono essere riportati nel Regno Unito come spedizioni controllate.<\/p>\n<p>&#8222;La merce aerea nel Regno Unito sta attualmente seguendo un percorso costoso e dannoso per l&#8217;ambiente&#8220;, ha affermato Daniels. Ha evidenziato che in altri paesi sono gi\u00e0 stati istituiti controlli con cani per i motori degli aerei, supportati da fornitori esperti. Tuttavia, le normative nel Regno Unito non sono ancora allineate con le possibilit\u00e0 operative.<\/p>\n<p>&#8222;Abbiamo bisogno di una politica che rifletta ci\u00f2 che \u00e8 possibile e vantaggioso per il settore, mantenendo sempre la sicurezza come massima priorit\u00e0&#8220;, ha aggiunto Daniels.<\/p>\n<p>Global K9 ha avviato le sue attivit\u00e0 europee nel dicembre 2024 ed \u00e8 attualmente operativa nei Paesi Bassi, in Belgio e nel Regno Unito. Nel Regno Unito, i cosiddetti Free Running Explosive Detection Dogs (FREDDs) sono stazionati negli aeroporti di Londra (Heathrow e Gatwick) e Aberdeen.<\/p>\n<p>Negli Stati Uniti, l&#8217;azienda collabora strettamente con la Transportation Security Administration (TSA) per supportare lo sviluppo di normative sul controllo dei cani nel settore delle merci. GK9 \u00e8 stata la prima organizzazione a gestire una Certified Cargo Screening Facility \u2013 K9 (CCSF-K9) approvata dalla TSA.<\/p>\n<p>Daniels ha sottolineato che una collaborazione pi\u00f9 costi operativi per gli esportatori e aumenterebbe la competitivit\u00e0 del settore della merce aerea britannico, consentendo di effettuare pi\u00f9 controlli nel paese.<\/p>\n<p>&#8222;La logistica
