Questo acquisto fa parte di un programma per migliorare l&#8217;elaborazione delle navi e l&#8217;efficienza del terminal, come comunicato dall&#8217;organizzazione madre ICTSI. Con le nuove gru, progettate per gestire navi pi\u00f9 grandi fino a 400 metri di lunghezza e con una capacit\u00e0 di fino a 20.000 unit\u00e0 equivalenti a venti piedi (TEU), si prevede di ottimizzare l&#8217;occupazione dei posti di ormeggio e ridurre i tempi di transito.<\/p>\n<h3>Espansione delle capacit\u00e0<\/h3>\n<p>Grazie all&#8217;ultimo investimento, il numero di gru da banchina al RBT aumenta a un totale di sei. Questa misura avviene secondo ICTSI in un contesto di aumento del volume di contenitori nel porto di Rio, che si \u00e8 registrato dal 2023. Questo aumento riflette la crescita nel commercio estero brasiliano e dimostra la necessit\u00e0 di adattare di conseguenza l&#8217;infrastruttura del terminal. L&#8217;espansione del RBT mira a gestire il crescente volume commerciale e a soddisfare le esigenze di navi pi\u00f9 grandi che sempre pi\u00f9 frequentemente approdano sulla costa orientale del Sud America.<\/p>\n<p>Il programma di modernizzazione comprende, oltre all&#8217;acquisto di nuove gru, anche l&#8217;espansione e la ristrutturazione dei piazzali, nonch\u00e9 l&#8217;ottimizzazione dei processi operativi interni. Queste misure dovrebbero contribuire a posizionare il porto di Rio in una posizione pi\u00f9 forte per supportare il commercio estero brasiliano e la catena logistica del paese.
