L&#8217;attenzione \u00e8 rivolta ai porti, alle vie navigabili e alla logistica multimodale.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"309\" data-end=\"648\">Il Ministro indiano per i porti, la navigazione e le vie navigabili, Sarbananda Sonowal, ha presentato a Calcutta un programma di investimenti di circa 2,3 miliardi di dollari per il Bengala Occidentale. I progetti dovrebbero essere realizzati entro il 2031 e, secondo il governo, creeranno oltre 62.500 posti di lavoro diretti e indiretti.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"650\" data-end=\"986\">Tra i progetti ci sono la costruzione del centro logistico multimodale di Balagarh, l&#8217;ampliamento e la meccanizzazione delle strutture portuali di Kolkata e Haldia, l&#8217;espansione delle vie navigabili interne e nuove capacit\u00e0 di cantieristica e riparazione. Sono previsti anche investimenti nel turismo fluviale, nello sviluppo delle rive e nei cluster industriali vicino ai porti.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"988\" data-end=\"1358\">Particolarmente rilevanti per il settore delle merci sono i miglioramenti previsti per l&#8217;infrastruttura portuale e delle vie navigabili. Il volume di merci del Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port \u00e8 aumentato, secondo il governo, da 46,3 milioni di tonnellate nel 2014 a 70,9 milioni di tonnellate nell&#8217;anno fiscale 2025\/26. Il volume di trasporto sulle vie navigabili interne \u00e8 quasi quintuplicato nello stesso periodo.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1360\" data-end=\"1674\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">I progetti fanno parte della strategia &#8222;Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047&#8220;, con cui l&#8217;India intende modernizzare la propria infrastruttura marittima e ridurre i costi logistici. Il Bengala Occidentale dovrebbe essere posizionato come hub per il commercio con il Nord Est dell&#8217;India e i paesi vicini Bangladesh, Bhutan e Nepal.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1360\"
