Questa decisione fa parte degli sforzi continui dell&#8217;azienda per ottimizzare il flusso logistico, ridurre le emissioni, migliorare l&#8217;efficienza dei costi e rafforzare la competitivit\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>In precedenza, SCA aveva gi\u00e0 adattato il traffico RoRo in Svezia, consentendo alle navi di navigare a velocit\u00e0 ridotte, il che ha portato a una riduzione delle emissioni del 40% per tonnellata trasportata e chilometro. Con la nuova rotta verso Vlissingen, questo approccio sar\u00e0 proseguito. Magnus Svensson, Senior Vice President Sourcing &amp; Logistics, spiega: &#8222;Si tratta di un approdo portuale breve e semplice per le nostre navi, il che significa che possiamo risparmiare alcune ore per viaggio. Siamo convinti di poter aumentare ulteriormente la nostra gi\u00e0 elevata affidabilit\u00e0 nelle consegne.&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Oltre allo scarico di camion e cellulosa, SCA caricher\u00e0 a Vlissingen anche fibre riciclate, merci generali e carichi RoRo per la Svezia. In totale, l&#8217;azienda stima che a Vlissingen vengano movimentate annualmente circa 400.000-450.000 tonnellate di merci.<\/p>\n<p>Il partner logistico di SCA a Vlissingen sar\u00e0 Verbrugge, che dispone del pi\u00f9 grande centro per cellulosa di carta in Europa e ha una vasta esperienza nella gestione di camion nei terminal vicini. Magnus Svensson sottolinea: &#8222;Ci sono buone connessioni di trasporto su strada e ferrovia, oltre alla possibilit\u00e0 di combinare le navi interne con altri spedizionieri, per consentire l&#8217;uso di navi interne pi\u00f9 grandi e pi\u00f9 efficienti in termini di costi.
