A partire da maggio 2026, un veicolo pesante a idrogeno del modello Scania 40R sar\u00e0 testato in Italia in condizioni operative reali. Questo test pratico fa parte del progetto europeo ZEFES, che si occupa della decarbonizzazione del trasporto merci.<\/p>\n<h3>Idrogeno come tecnologia di propulsione al centro<\/h3>\n<p>Negli ultimi anni, Scania si \u00e8 concentrata maggiormente sull&#8217;elettrificazione del trasporto merci su strada, ma persegue anche l&#8217;obiettivo di esplorare diverse tecnologie di propulsione sostenibili. La sperimentazione di veicoli a idrogeno \u00e8 attualmente in una fase iniziale, con un focus su progetti pilota in Europa. La collaborazione con Gruber Logistics mira a posizionare l&#8217;Italia come pioniere nello sviluppo e nella sperimentazione di soluzioni a idrogeno per il trasporto pesante.<\/p>\n<p>Il progetto ZEFES ha l&#8217;obiettivo di accelerare l&#8217;introduzione di veicoli elettrici a batteria (BEV) e veicoli a celle a combustibile a idrogeno (FCEV) nel trasporto merci europeo. Martin Gruber, CEO di Gruber Logistics, sottolinea l&#8217;importanza del test: &#8222;\u00c8 importante sottolineare che questo veicolo, sebbene non sia ancora in produzione di serie, viene utilizzato in operazioni reali grazie alla collaborazione con aziende leader del settore manifatturiero. Questo \u00e8 un passo importante per accelerare l&#8217;introduzione di nuove tecnologie e per riconoscere immediatamente quali potenziali sfide un&#8217;azienda di logistica potrebbe affrontare nel loro utilizzo.&#8220;<\/p>\n<h3>Dettagli tecnici del veicolo FCEV<\/h3>\n<p>Il veicolo a idrogeno si basa su un trattore stradale a tre assi, sviluppato su una piattaforma BEV. In questa piattaforma sono integrati serbatoi di idrogeno e un sistema a celle a combustibile. L&#8217;idrogeno non viene bruciato, ma viene convertito in elettricit\u00e0 tramite la cella a combustibile. L&#8217;obiettivo del test \u00e8 valutare le prestazioni operative, l&#8217;autonomia e i metodi di rifornimento in condizioni reali.<\/p>\n<p>Rispetto ai tradizionali BEV, un FCEV offre alcuni vantaggi. Questi includono una maggiore autonomia, poich\u00e9 il sistema a celle a combustibile consente di percorrere distanze pi\u00f9 lunghe, e tempi di rifornimento pi\u00f9 brevi, di circa 20 minuti. Inoltre, le reti di distribuzione e rifornimento di idrogeno possono essere decentralizzate pi\u00f9 facilmente in determinati processi logistici, rendendole adatte per applicazioni complesse.<\/p>\n<p>Simone Martinelli, Sales Manager E-Mobility di Scania Italia, spiega: &#8222;Basandoci sull&#8217;approccio modulare tipico di Scania, abbiamo utilizzato la piattaforma BEV e l&#8217;abbiamo combinata con la tecnologia delle celle a combustibile. Non si tratta di un veicolo ottimizzato nella sua configurazione finale, ma di una soluzione transitoria che ci consente di sfruttare gli sviluppi nel campo della propulsione elettrica e di valutare il comportamento del sistema a celle a combustibile in condizioni reali.&#8220;<\/p>\n<h3>Eventi e test programmati<\/h3>\n<p>Oltre ai test pratici su strada, sono previsti anche test di rifornimento e dimostrazioni statiche e dinamiche. I risultati e le migliori pratiche saranno condivisi con il settore. Il primo evento congiunto si terr\u00e0 alla Transpotec 2026, dove Scania e Gruber Logistics presenteranno la loro iniziativa il 14 maggio alle 12:00. I visitatori potranno vedere il veicolo durante la fiera nell&#8217;area esterna.
