L&#8217;iniziativa \u00e8 stata selezionata nell&#8217;ambito di un programma di finanziamento del Ministero dell&#8217;Economia giapponese e mira a creare le basi per l&#8217;uso futuro dell&#8217;ammoniaca come carburante marittimo.<\/p>\n<p>Nel progetto verr\u00e0 testato per la prima volta un rifornimento tramite il metodo &#8222;Ship-to-Ship&#8220;. L&#8217;obiettivo \u00e8 sviluppare standard di sicurezza e definire le procedure operative.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;ammoniaca \u00e8 considerata un potenziale vettore energetico a minore emissione, ma presenta elevate esigenze in termini di tecnologia e sicurezza a causa delle sue propriet\u00e0 tossiche.<\/p>\n<p>Singapore offre, come il pi\u00f9 grande porto di bunker al mondo, condizioni adatte per tali test. Oltre agli studi di fattibilit\u00e0, l&#8217;attenzione \u00e8 rivolta agli aspetti ambientali e di sicurezza.
