Due varianti per navi con 60.000 &#8211; 65.000 DWT hanno ora ricevuto un \u00abapproval in principle\u00bb (aip) da ClassNK.<\/p>\n<p>I concetti si basano su rotori a vela di ultima generazione, con un diametro di 3,5 m e un&#8217;altezza di 24,5 m. Una versione prevede una singola vela a prua, mentre l&#8217;altra utilizza un sistema di guide per l&#8217;installazione di fino a tre rotori a vela sul ponte. L&#8217;obiettivo \u00e8 semplificare i processi di installazione e aumentare il potenziale di risparmio sul carburante.<\/p>\n<p>Lo sviluppo si basa su esperienze di progetti precedenti, tra cui la prima installazione su un bulk carrier nel 2018.
