(&#8222;K&#8220; LINE) ha firmato un accordo per la fornitura a lungo termine di carburante Bio-LNG. Questa misura mira a consentire l&#8217;uso di Bio-LNG (metano biologico liquefatto) per la flotta di trasportatori di automobili alimentati a LNG. L&#8217;accordo potrebbe portare &#8222;K&#8220; LINE a ridurre le proprie emissioni di gas serra di circa 60.800 t all&#8217;anno, come comunicato dall&#8217;azienda.<\/p>\n<p>Il Bio-LNG rappresenta un&#8217;alternativa al tradizionale gas naturale liquefatto (LNG). Il carburante viene ottenuto da rifiuti organici come escrementi di animali da allevamento e scarti alimentari. &#8222;K&#8220; Line riporta che le emissioni di gas serra lungo l&#8217;intero ciclo di vita del Bio-LNG, dalla produzione all&#8217;uso, sono inferiori rispetto alle emissioni dei carburanti convenzionali. Un ulteriore vantaggio del Bio-LNG \u00e8 che pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato su navi alimentate a LNG esistenti senza modifiche.<\/p>\n<p>La decisione di &#8222;K&#8220; LINE di utilizzare il Bio-LNG fa parte di una strategia pi\u00f9 ampia per ridurre l&#8217;impatto ambientale del traffico marittimo, con l&#8217;obiettivo di raggiungere entro il 2050 <span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">emissioni nette di gas serra pari a zero<\/span>.
