Le navi &#8222;Basle Express&#8220; ed &#8222;Essen Express&#8220; (foto), ciascuna con una capacit\u00e0 di 14.000 TEU, hanno ricevuto modifiche ai motori principali e ai componenti del turbocompressore per ridurre il consumo di carburante a carichi di motore inferiori. I test in mare effettuati e i successivi dati operativi mostrano risparmi superiori a 10 g\/kWh, corrispondenti a una riduzione del consumo totale del 5% in determinate fasce di carico.<\/p>\n<h3>Aumento dell&#8217;efficienza attraverso soluzioni personalizzate<\/h3>\n<p>La soluzione EPLO personalizzata di Accelleron e HMS garantisce che le navi operate a velocit\u00e0 di motore inferiori, ad esempio per soddisfare i requisiti di efficienza energetica e ridurre i costi di carbonio, funzionino nel modo pi\u00f9 efficiente possibile. Le due navi di Hapag-Lloyd sono state recentemente aggiornate con miglioramenti allo scafo e all&#8217;elica per raggiungere la velocit\u00e0 richiesta con un consumo energetico significativamente inferiore. Grazie all&#8217;ottimizzazione EPLO e alle modifiche ai turbocompressori, le navi possono continuare a fornire la potenza di propulsione necessaria, mentre si ottengono ulteriori risparmi di carburante.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;ottimizzazione delle navi \u00e8 stata realizzata in un progetto efficiente, completato in sole quattro settimane dalla ricezione dell&#8217;ordine, dopo una valutazione tecnica. A causa dei risultati positivi, Hapag-Lloyd prevede di estendere l&#8217;implementazione alle restanti otto navi della classe Dortmund Express.<\/p>\n<h3>Vantaggi misurabili e conformit\u00e0 normativa<\/h3>\n<p>Thomas H\u00e4ni, Senior Engine Expert di Accelleron, ha sottolineato: &#8222;Questo notevole miglioramento delle prestazioni del motore, misurato in condizioni operative reali, conferma la robustezza tecnica delle ottimizzazioni EPLO per le navi che operano in carico parziale. La collaborazione con Hapag-Lloyd e HMS ha stabilito un approccio di retrofit scalabile che supporta sia l&#8217;efficienza operativa che la conformit\u00e0 alle normative nel settore della navigazione container.&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>San Min, SVP per Green &amp; Digital Sales di HD HMS, ha aggiunto: &#8222;Questa soluzione EPLO rappresenta un progresso significativo, che raggiunge al contempo un miglioramento duraturo delle prestazioni del motore e la conformit\u00e0 immediata alle normative IMO. Finora, HMS e Accelleron hanno assicurato insieme contratti EPLO per oltre 100 navi con una variet\u00e0 di compagnie di navigazione in tutto il mondo.
