Questo passaggio rappresenta un corridoio centrale per il commercio internazionale, attraverso il quale transita circa un quarto del commercio mondiale di petrolio via mare, oltre a grandi quantit\u00e0 di gas naturale liquefatto e fertilizzanti.<\/p>\n<p>Le azioni belliche nella regione hanno portato a interruzioni nella navigazione, suscitando preoccupazioni per i possibili effetti sui mercati energetici, sul trasporto marittimo e sulle catene di approvvigionamento globali, come riporta l&#8217;UNCTAD. Secondo l&#8217;analisi, i mercati energetici hanno reagito immediatamente alle interruzioni: il prezzo del petrolio Brent \u00e8 salito a oltre 90 dollari USA al barile. Anche i prezzi delle navi cisterna per il petrolio e i premi per le assicurazioni contro i rischi di guerra sono aumentati notevolmente. I costi per il carburante navale sono anch&#8217;essi aumentati.<\/p>\n<h3>Impatto sui fertilizzanti<\/h3>\n<p>Un aspetto particolarmente preoccupante \u00e8 l&#8217;influenza sul commercio dei fertilizzanti. Circa un terzo del commercio mondiale di fertilizzanti via mare, corrispondente a circa 16 milioni di tonnellate, attraversa secondo l&#8217;analisi lo Stretto di Hormuz.
