Le due navi saranno costruite presso il cantiere navale China Merchants Jinling a Nanchino e dovrebbero aumentare la capacit\u00e0 e la flessibilit\u00e0 nel trasporto a corto raggio in Europa. Con questo ordine, il numero totale di navi in costruzione sale a quattro.<\/p>\n<h3>Progressi tecnologici e aspetti ambientali<\/h3>\n<p>I nuovi PCTC saranno dotati di una capacit\u00e0 di 3000 CEU ciascuno e saranno equipaggiati con moderni motori ibridi a pi\u00f9 combustibili. Questa tecnologia mira a ottimizzare il consumo di carburante e ridurre le emissioni. Secondo Glenn Edvardsen, CEO di UECC, le nuove navi rappresentano un significativo progresso in termini di sicurezza, efficienza e prestazioni ambientali. Le navi saranno inoltre dotate di una costruzione senza zavorra, che riduce ulteriormente il consumo di carburante e dispone di sistemi di monitoraggio delle emissioni in tempo reale.<\/p>\n<p>Le navi avranno nove ponti e offriranno una rampa di poppa con una capacit\u00e0 di 160 t. Ci\u00f2 consente il trasporto di una variet\u00e0 di veicoli, nonch\u00e9 di carichi pesanti e ingombranti, che normalmente rientrano al di fuori del tipico segmento PCTC. Le navi sono previste per la consegna all&#8217;inizio del 2028.<\/p>\n<h3>Focus sulla sicurezza e soluzioni digitali<\/h3>\n<p>Una delle principali preoccupazioni nello sviluppo delle nuove navi \u00e8 stata la sicurezza. Edvardsen sottolinea che \u00e8 stato implementato un robusto concetto di sicurezza che migliora la lotta contro gli incendi e integra capacit\u00e0 di monitoraggio e risposta avanzate. Le navi non solo dovranno rispettare le normative attuali, ma dovranno anche tenere conto degli standard di sicurezza futuri.<\/p>\n<p>Inoltre, sar\u00e0 implementato un sistema digitale integrato che ottimizza le operazioni e supporta il processo decisionale. Queste soluzioni digitali mirano a migliorare le prestazioni e aumentare la trasparenza durante l&#8217;intero ciclo di vita delle navi.<\/p>\n<p>Con questo nuovo ordine, UECC avr\u00e0 in totale nove PCTC ibridi a doppio carburante LNG e multi-combustibile nella sua flotta, che sono in servizio dal 2016. Queste navi sono progettate anche per accogliere future innovazioni tecnologiche e combustibili alternativi.<\/p>\n<h3>Impegno per la sostenibilit\u00e0<\/h3>\n<p>UECC si \u00e8 impegnata a ridurre l&#8217;impatto ambientale partecipando a iniziative come il programma &#8222;Sail for Change&#8220;. Questo programma consente ai produttori di veicoli di ottenere significativi risparmi sulle emissioni di Scope 3.
