Questa decisione segue, secondo il Consiglio, una revisione strategica dell&#8217;operazione, che mira a garantire la sicurezza in relazione alla crisi persistente nella regione.<\/p>\n<h3>Condizioni quadro e future revisioni<\/h3>\n<p>Il Consiglio ha stabilito in questo contesto un importo di riferimento finanziario di quasi 15 milioni di euro. Tale importo dovrebbe coprire i costi operativi comuni per il periodo dal 1 marzo 2026 al 28 febbraio 2027. Inoltre, \u00e8 prevista un&#8217;ulteriore revisione strategica dell&#8217;operazione per gli anni 2026\/27.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;operazione &#8222;EUNAVFOR ASPIDES&#8220; svolge, secondo il Consiglio, un ruolo centrale nel garantire la libert\u00e0 di navigazione nel Mar Rosso e nelle acque circostanti. Essa risponde a minacce persistenti per le navi commerciali e garantisce la sicurezza marittima difensiva.
