Moller \u2013 Maersk, ed Eurogate hanno annunciato di essere in trattative avanzate per una partnership a lungo termine. L&#8217;obiettivo di questa partnership \u00e8 investire un miliardo di euro nella modernizzazione del North Sea Terminal Bremerhaven (NTB). Questi investimenti dovrebbero sviluppare il terminal in uno dei pi\u00f9 moderni ed efficienti impianti di movimentazione in Europa.<\/p>\n<h3>Modernizzazione e ampliamento della capacit\u00e0<\/h3>\n<p>Gli investimenti previsti comprendono la modernizzazione delle attrezzature tecniche del terminal e un aumento della capacit\u00e0 di movimentazione annuale da attuali tre a quattro milioni di TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units). Un elemento centrale dei piani \u00e8 la completa elettrificazione delle operazioni di movimentazione. Attraverso l&#8217;uso di energie rinnovabili, il NTB punta a diventare il primo terminal di questo tipo in Germania a raggiungere zero emissioni di gas serra nelle operazioni.
