Con un totale di 313.763 t di merci, \u00e8 stato raggiunto un nuovo massimo, corrispondente a un aumento del 5,3% rispetto all&#8217;anno precedente. Questo sviluppo positivo \u00e8 principalmente attribuibile all&#8217;espansione mirata dell&#8217;offerta di voli a lungo raggio e alla crescita nei settori dell&#8217;e-commerce e farmaceutico. Anche il Vienna Pharma Handling Center ha registrato un aumento, superando il risultato dell&#8217;anno precedente del 6,4%.<\/p>\n<h3>Ruolo importante nel traffico aereo internazionale di merci<\/h3>\n<p>Mag. Julian J\u00e4ger, membro del consiglio di amministrazione di Flughafen Wien AG, sottolinea l&#8217;importanza centrale di un settore cargo performante per gli aeroporti. &#8222;La cargo aerea garantisce flussi di merci globali e promuove la crescita economica. Michael Zach, Senior Vice President Ground Handling &amp; Cargo Operations di Flughafen Wien AG, evidenzia che tutti i processi devono integrarsi perfettamente per poter gestire rapidamente le spedizioni. Il Cargohub Vienna ha beneficiato nel 2025 in particolare dell&#8217;aumento dei volumi verso il Nord America. Zach esprime fiducia che lo sviluppo positivo possa continuare anche nel 2026.<\/p>\n<h3>Trend in crescita per le cifre di importazione ed esportazione<\/h3>\n<p>Nell&#8217;anno passato, attraverso l&#8217;aeroporto di Vienna sono state importate 167.568 t di cargo aerea, corrispondenti a un aumento del 2,8% rispetto all&#8217;anno record 2024. Questi numeri sottolineano il ruolo dell&#8217;aeroporto come hub per la cargo aerea nell&#8217;Europa centrale e orientale. In particolare, l&#8217;aumento dei volumi di e-commerce dall&#8217;Asia ha contribuito allo sviluppo positivo. Nel settore delle esportazioni, le tonnellate sono aumentate notevolmente nel primo semestre, principalmente a causa della politica doganale statunitense. In totale, sono state esportate 146.195 t, corrispondenti a un aumento dell&#8217;8,4% rispetto all&#8217;anno precedente. I principali mercati di esportazione sono Asia e Stati Uniti.<\/p>\n<h3>Vantaggi geografici e infrastruttura<\/h3>\n<p>L&#8217;aeroporto di Vienna si \u00e8 affermato come un importante hub globale per le merci nell&#8217;Europa centrale e orientale grazie alla sua posizione geografica favorevole. Le principali compagnie aeree cargo servono l&#8217;aeroporto per i trasporti intercontinentali. La disponibilit\u00e0 operativa 24 ore su 24 consente tempi di transito rapidi. Per la cargo aerea sono disponibili dieci piazzole per aerei di categoria F in prossimit\u00e0 immediata del terminal.
