L&#8217;obiettivo \u00e8 ridurre i cosiddetti Foreign Object Debris (FOD), ovvero corpi estranei presenti in aeroporto, che in passato hanno portato a incidenti legati agli pneumatici. Questi incidenti hanno potuto influenzare negativamente i programmi di volo, motivo per cui \u00e8 stato ritenuto necessario un efficace gestione dei FOD.<\/p>\n<p>La collaborazione tra Bridgestone, Ethiopian Airlines e Ethiopian Airports mira ad aumentare la sicurezza operativa attraverso misure mirate. Bridgestone contribuisce con la propria esperienza nell&#8217;ispezione e analisi di pneumatici usati per raccogliere dati FOD specifici per le compagnie aeree. Sulla base di queste informazioni, sono state sviluppate misure concrete che includono, tra l&#8217;altro, l&#8217;ottimizzazione delle pattuglie FOD regolari da parte del personale aeroportuale, analisi basate sui dati sulla distribuzione dei FOD e misure di sensibilizzazione.<\/p>\n<h3>Impatto positivo sulle operazioni di volo<\/h3>\n<p>I primi risultati della collaborazione mostrano una significativa riduzione della frequenza degli incidenti legati agli pneumatici, portando a un miglioramento della puntualit\u00e0 nelle operazioni di volo di Ethiopian Airlines. L&#8217;uso intensificato di pneumatici per aeromobili ricostruiti ha inoltre contribuito all&#8217;ottimizzazione della produttivit\u00e0 e all&#8217;aumento del valore economico.<\/p>\n<p>Retta Melaku, Chief Operating Officer del Gruppo Ethiopian Airlines, sottolinea l&#8217;alta priorit\u00e0 della sicurezza per passeggeri e personale. La collaborazione con Bridgestone rappresenta un passo verso il rafforzamento delle misure di riduzione dei FOD presso l&#8217;Aeroporto Internazionale di Bole. Getaneh Adera, Managing Director di Ethiopian Airports, evidenzia che la stretta cooperazione con Bridgestone ha portato a operazioni pi\u00f9 sicure e a una maggiore produttivit\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>Jean-Philippe Minet, Managing Director di Bridgestone Aircraft Tire (Europe) S.A., spiega che la combinazione di esperienze operative e analisi tecnica ha reso possibile soluzioni su misura. Lo sviluppo continuo di queste soluzioni mira a migliorare ulteriormente sia la sicurezza delle operazioni aeree che la produttivit\u00e0 operativa.<\/p>\n<p>Bridgestone prevede di ampliare ulteriormente la collaborazione con Ethiopian Airlines per creare un valore sostenibile per l&#8217;industria aeronautica.
