Questi fondi serviranno a supportare l&#8217;acquisto di tre Pure Car &amp; Truck Carrier (PCTC) di nuova generazione, previsti per la consegna nel 2026. Le navi porteranno i nomi &#8222;Grande Egitto&#8220;, &#8222;Grande Pacifico&#8220; e &#8222;Grande Oceania&#8220; e dovrebbero essere consegnate entro quest&#8217;anno.<\/p>\n<p>Il finanziamento fa parte della strategia del Gruppo Grimaldi, che punta a una crescita sostenibile e all&#8217;innovazione tecnologica, come riporta <span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Diego Pacella, CEO del Gruppo Grimaldi<\/span>. Francesca Diviccaro, responsabile del settore Retail &amp; Luxury di Intesa Sanpaolo, ha sottolineato l&#8217;importanza di Grimaldi Euromed per lo sviluppo sostenibile del trasporto marittimo. Ha spiegato che Intesa Sanpaolo \u00e8 sempre al fianco delle aziende che effettuano investimenti strategici e promuovono la transizione verso energie rinnovabili.<\/p>\n<p>Le navi fanno parte di un ordine pi\u00f9 ampio di 17 nuove navi PCTC che il Gruppo Grimaldi ha effettuato tra il 2022 e il 2023. Questo ordine comprende un volume totale di investimenti di oltre 1,6 miliardi di USD. Ognuna delle nuove navi ha una capacit\u00e0 di trasporto di 9.800 Car Equivalent Units (CEU) e si distingue, secondo il Gruppo Grimaldi, per un basso impatto ambientale.<\/p>\n<h3>Tecnologia dietro le navi<\/h3>\n<p>Le nuove navi sono dotate di tecnologia mirata a ridurre l&#8217;impatto ambientale. Ci\u00f2 include la &#8222;certificazione di classe Ammonia Ready&#8220;, che attesta la possibilit\u00e0 di una futura conversione all&#8217;ammoniaca come certificato di carburante privo di emissioni. Inoltre, le navi dispongono di diverse certificazioni di classe come Green Plus, Green Star 3, Comfort Vibration e Comfort Noise Port. Ulteriori caratteristiche tecniche includono batterie megawatt da 5 MWh agli ioni di litio e 2.500 m\u00b2 di pannelli solari, che contribuiranno all&#8217;approvvigionamento energetico.
