Una delle gallerie \u00e8 crollata nel 2017 poco prima del completamento dei lavori dell&#8217;intero tunnel ferroviario \u2013 per fortuna senza feriti. Di conseguenza, per sette settimane non \u00e8 stato possibile il traffico ferroviario tra Rastatt e Baden-Baden o tra i porti del Mare del Nord e il Nord Italia.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Berlino) Non c&#8217;\u00e8 ancora una chiarificazione pubblica n\u00e9 sulla causa del crollo n\u00e9 su chi alla fine si far\u00e0 carico dei costi aggiuntivi.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Neele Wesseln<\/strong>, amministratrice delegata delle G\u00dcTERBAHNEN, commenta:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-29454\" src=\"https:\/\/transportjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/12\/Gueterbahnen_12.8.25_2-300x269.jpg\" alt=\"Nele Wesseln; Le Gallerie Merci; Ferrovia; Trasporto merci; Politica dei trasporti; Associazioni; Loginfo24\" width=\"226\" height=\"203\" \/> Nele Wesseln<\/caption>\n<p>\u201eOtto anni dopo il pi\u00f9 grave incidente di costruzione della recente storia ferroviaria, \u00e8 inaccettabile che il rapporto finale sulle cause, i costi aggiuntivi e le responsabilit\u00e0 non sia ancora stato reso pubblico. L&#8217;interesse pubblico per la trasparenza \u00e8 enorme \u2013 si tratta di milioni di euro e della questione se errori simili possano essere evitati in futuro. Temiamo che i costi aggiuntivi vengano coperti a scapito di altri progetti infrastrutturali urgentemente necessari dal bilancio federale.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Inoltre, il tunnel \u00e8 praticamente inutilizzabile per i treni merci pesanti. Con la sua pendenza del 12,5 per mille, costringe una parte dei treni a passare ancora attraverso Rastatt, nonostante il tunnel sia stato costruito anche per ridurre l&#8217;inquinamento acustico e allontanare il traffico dalla citt\u00e0. Questo non \u00e8 solo un errore di pianificazione, ma un monito che i futuri grandi progetti devono essere maggiormente orientati alle esigenze del trasporto merci \u2013 non solo al trasporto passeggeri, che per la politica sembra essere pi\u00f9 rilevante.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h5>Pendenza all&#8217;inizio e alla fine del tunnel decisiva<\/h5>\n<p>Per il transito di tunnel per diverse modalit\u00e0 di trasporto, la pendenza all&#8217;inizio e alla fine del tunnel \u00e8 decisiva. Poich\u00e9 nel trasporto merci circolano i treni pi\u00f9 pesanti, sono particolarmente dipendenti da una pendenza minore (idealmente max. <a href=\"https:\/\/die-gueterbahnen.com\/news\/zahl-des-tages\/4.html\">quattro per mille<\/a>). Il tunnel di Rastatt \u00e8 stato costruito secondo le normative allora vigenti della DB Netz AG in modo tale che i treni passeggeri leggeri e ad alta accelerazione possano facilmente percorrere le rampe costruite con 12,5 per mille, mentre i treni merci pi\u00f9 pesanti no. Questi ultimi dovrebbero quindi continuare a passare attraverso la citt\u00e0 \u2013 tanto pi\u00f9 macabro, dato che il tunnel \u00e8 stato costruito principalmente per allontanare il rumore dalla citt\u00e0.
