I viaggi in camion sono diminuiti di 13.000 a 463.000. Nel trasporto merci su rotaia, il volume di trasporto \u00e8 diminuito ancora di pi\u00f9. La quota ferroviaria era del 72,7 percento, 0,9 punti percentuali in meno rispetto alla prima met\u00e0 del 2022.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p> (Berna) Nella prima met\u00e0 del 2023, sono stati trasportati complessivamente 19,1 milioni di tonnellate di merci su strada e su rotaia attraverso le Alpi svizzere, circa un milione di tonnellate in meno rispetto al primo semestre del 2022. Su strada, il volume di trasporto \u00e8 diminuito di 100.000 tonnellate (-2,7 percento). In totale, sono stati conteggiati 463.000 viaggi in camion attraverso le Alpi, 13.000 in meno rispetto all&#8217;anno precedente. Il trasporto merci su rotaia ha registrato un calo pi\u00f9 marcato: con il treno sono state trasportate in totale 13,9 milioni di tonnellate attraverso le Alpi, corrispondente a una diminuzione del 6 percento. La quota ferroviaria sul totale del traffico merci transalpino \u00e8 diminuita di 0,9 punti percentuali, attestandosi al 72,7 percento. Questo \u00e8 quanto emerge dal rapporto semestrale sul traffico merci transalpino pubblicato dall&#8217;Ufficio federale dei trasporti (UFT) il 19 ottobre 2023.<\/p>\n<h5>Domanda in calo nel traffico merci transalpino<\/h5>\n<p> Il calo \u00e8 principalmente attribuibile all&#8217;andamento economico in Europa. A causa della produzione pi\u00f9 bassa, in particolare nei settori dell&#8217;acciaio, della chimica e dell&#8217;industria automobilistica, \u00e8 diminuita la domanda di servizi di trasporto nel traffico merci transalpino. Il fatto che il calo su strada sia stato meno marcato potrebbe essere legato al fatto che il traffico merci interno ha avuto un effetto stabilizzante, mentre l&#8217;andamento in Europa ha avuto un impatto diretto sul trasporto ferroviario. Inoltre, la continua inadeguatezza dell&#8217;affidabilit\u00e0 delle ferrovie nel traffico di transito potrebbe aver avuto effetti negativi.
