In presenza di circa 300 ospiti provenienti dal mondo degli affari e della politica, la madrina Elke B\u00fcdenbender ha effettuato la cerimonia di battesimo presso il terminal container Burchardkai (Athabaskakai) nel porto di Amburgo. Tra gli ospiti c&#8217;erano il sindaco di Amburgo Peter Tschentscher e Daniel G\u00fcnther, primo ministro del Schleswig-Holstein.<\/h5>\n<p>(Hamburgo) Con la classe Hamburg Express, Hapag-Lloyd segna l&#8217;inizio di una nuova era per la sua flotta. In totale, dodici modernissime navi portacontainer di grandi dimensioni saranno messe in servizio entro il 2025. Questo contribuir\u00e0 in modo significativo a rendere l&#8217;intera flotta Hapag-Lloyd neutra in termini di emissioni di carbonio entro il 2045. Grazie alla loro innovativa tecnologia dual-fuel, possono essere operate in futuro anche con combustibili non fossili come il bio-metano o l&#8217;e-metano, quasi senza emissioni di CO2.<\/p>\n<p>Per il momento, verr\u00e0 utilizzato il gas naturale liquefatto (GNL), con il quale le emissioni di CO2 possono essere ridotte fino al 25% e le emissioni di fuliggine fino al 95%. Inoltre, componenti avanzati come uno scafo ottimizzato e una elica ad alta efficienza contribuiscono a ridurre il consumo di carburante e le emissioni di gas serra. &#8220;Con la nuova classe Hamburg Express, Hapag-Lloyd sta vivendo un cambiamento epocale&#8221;, afferma Rolf Habben Jansen. &#8220;Con queste navi ad alta efficienza, le emissioni possono essere ridotte immediatamente e in modo significativo. Allo stesso tempo, sono un elemento chiave della nostra strategia per promuovere la decarbonizzazione passo dopo passo.
