Con il cosiddetto carburante HVO, la flotta di locomotive diesel di DB Cargo pu\u00f2 essere operata senza alcuna limitazione di prestazioni, come hanno dimostrato ampie serie di test.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Mainz) Con questi biocarburanti, catene di approvvigionamento completamente climaticamente neutre sono ora possibili per i clienti di DB Cargo. Gi\u00e0 oggi, ogni treno merci risparmia al nostro pianeta circa l&#8217;80-100% di CO2 rispetto al trasporto su strada. DB Cargo, la pi\u00f9 grande ferrovia merci europea, fornisce circa il 95% della sua potenza di trazione elettricamente. La restante potenza del treno viene fornita durante le manovre, nei terminal e nei porti o durante la consegna dei vagoni merci nei siti dei clienti di DB Cargo. Per questo servizio di manovra con treni merci pesanti fino a 3.000 tonnellate, ora esiste una soluzione praticamente completamente priva di CO2.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Sigrid Nikutta, membro del consiglio di DB per il trasporto merci: &#8220;Abbiamo realizzato l&#8217;impossibile \u2013 possiamo far viaggiare treni merci completamente neutri in CO2 per i nostri clienti con carburanti alternativi e la flotta di locomotive esistente senza problemi. L&#8217;attenzione \u00e8 rivolta ai biocarburanti, come il cosiddetto olio vegetale idrotrattato (HVO). Questo carburante \u00e8 prodotto da materiali biologici di scarto e rifiuti. Per la produzione non vengono utilizzate ulteriori superfici agricole che competono con i prodotti alimentari e per mangimi. Il biocarburante \u00e8 anche privo di olio di palma.
