Gradualmente, tutte le attuali locomotive diesel saranno sostituite da macchine moderne e ecologiche con motorizzazioni alternative. Attualmente, 300 nuove locomotive da manovra e bimodali sono in arrivo per DB Cargo. Le prime locomotive dovrebbero essere gi\u00e0 in servizio il prossimo anno. A lungo termine, si tratta di sostituire circa 900 locomotive diesel di vecchia generazione.<\/h5>\n<p>La DB Cargo ordina 200 locomotive con tecnologia di propulsione all&#8217;avanguardia per il cambio d&#8217;anno. &#8220;Investiamo nella nostra flotta di locomotive perch\u00e9 cresceremo. Con la tecnologia pi\u00f9 moderna, aiutiamo a raggiungere gli obiettivi climatici nel settore dei trasporti. Con il nostro programma di modernizzazione, possiamo risparmiare circa 14 milioni di litri di diesel all&#8217;anno&#8221;, afferma Dr. Sigrid Nikutta, membro del consiglio di amministrazione di DB per il trasporto merci e responsabile di DB Cargo.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Theurer, segretario di Stato parlamentare e incaricato del governo federale per il trasporto ferroviario: &#8220;Le nuove locomotive non solo rendono le ferrovie merci ancora pi\u00f9 ecologiche, ma rendono anche le operazioni molto pi\u00f9 efficienti e quindi pi\u00f9 attraenti. Grazie ai progressi tecnici, ora \u00e8 possibile movimentare anche carichi pesanti nell&#8217;ultima tratta o durante le manovre, senza dover cambiare personale e tecnologia. Con tecnologia moderna e energia verde, creiamo catene di approvvigionamento pulite.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Il 95% della loro potenza di trazione nella rete ferroviaria viene gi\u00e0 oggi fornito dalla pi\u00f9 grande ferrovia merci europea con locomotive elettriche ecologiche. Presto anche le operazioni di manovra nei terminal merci e &#8220;l&#8217;ultima tratta&#8221; verso il cliente saranno effettuate con veicoli a tecnologia bimodale o ibrida. Il trasporto merci su rotaia ha un&#8217;impronta di CO\u2082 fino all&#8217;80% inferiore rispetto al trasporto su strada.<\/p>\n<h5>Sistemi di propulsione modulari<\/h5>\n<p>Per il cambio d&#8217;anno, la Vossloh Locomotives GmbH ha impressionato con una nuova locomotiva da manovra ibrida in una gara d&#8217;appalto a livello europeo. Le nuove macchine sono costruite come ibridi plug-in, ma dispongono anche di una potenza motore sufficiente con il pi\u00f9 moderno sistema di depurazione dei gas di scarico per muovere treni merci pesanti durante le manovre. I sistemi di propulsione sono modulari e possono essere facilmente sostituiti con un&#8217;adeguata evoluzione della tecnologia. L&#8217;introduzione di questa tecnologia innovativa \u00e8 supportata dal governo federale attraverso la direttiva per la promozione di propulsioni alternative nel trasporto ferroviario del Ministero federale per la digitalizzazione e i trasporti con un totale di 15 milioni di euro. Le 50 locomotive dovrebbero essere utilizzate da DB Cargo a partire dal 2024.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_16799\" style=\"width: 1421px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16799\" class=\"wp-image-16799 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/transportjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/12\/DB_Cargo_18.1.22_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1411\" height=\"722\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-16799\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">50 locomotive di Vossloh Locomotives dovrebbero essere utilizzate da DB Cargo a partire dal 2024.<\/p><\/div>\n<h5><strong>Le locomotive bimodali offrono il meglio di entrambi i mondi<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Con una potente trazione elettrica, i pesanti treni merci possono essere movimentati anche su lunghe distanze &#8220;sotto il filo aereo&#8221;. Se questo filo elettrico manca sulle linee secondarie o durante la consegna nei siti produttivi dei clienti, non \u00e8 necessario cambiare n\u00e9 la locomotiva n\u00e9 il macchinista: \u00e8 sufficiente commutare la propulsione. Gi\u00e0 pi\u00f9 di un anno fa, il produttore Siemens Mobility ha vinto un&#8217;appalto di DB con locomotive del tipo Vectron Dual Mode. Ora la prima consegna sar\u00e0 aumentata da 100 a circa 150 locomotive a partire dal 2023. Inoltre, 46 ulteriori locomotive saranno equipaggiate con adattamenti specifici per il campo di applicazione previsto da DB Cargo, mentre quattro macchine saranno assunte dal gruppo di costruzione ferroviaria DB.<\/p>\n<p>La terza colonna della nuova strategia \u00e8 l&#8217;acquisto di locomotive da manovra ibride Toshiba HDB 800. In totale, 100 di queste locomotive prodotte a Rostock saranno utilizzate da DB Cargo.
