Si \u00e8 registrata una diminuzione del 12 percento. La congiuntura economica in calo e le lunghe periodi di bassa acqua sono state le principali ragioni.<\/p>\n<p>(Saarbr\u00fccken) Nell&#8217;anno scorso, il traffico merci dei porti del Saarland su Saar e Mosella \u00e8 diminuito di circa il 12 percento rispetto al 2018, raggiungendo un totale di tre milioni di tonnellate. La causa di questa diminuzione \u00e8, oltre alla debole congiuntura industriale, in particolare la situazione di bassa acqua che \u00e8 durata mesi sul Reno a causa dell&#8217;inverno con poca pioggia e dell&#8217;estate calda. Poich\u00e9 le navi sul Reno potevano navigare solo con carico ridotto o addirittura non navigare affatto, il trasporto di merci alla rinfusa per l&#8217;economia del Saarland \u00e8 stato colpito in modo particolare. Questo \u00e8 crollato di oltre un quarto rispetto al 2018. Al contrario, il trasporto meno critico in termini di peso ha registrato un leggero aumento nello stesso periodo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eLa diminuzione della quantit\u00e0 di merci trasportate sottolinea ancora una volta quanto siano importanti le vie navigabili ben sviluppate per il trasporto ecologico delle merci via nave. Pertanto, facciamo appello al Ministro dei Trasporti federale Andreas Scheuer di approfondire il canale, in particolare sul Medio e Basso Reno. Solo in questo modo sar\u00e0 possibile affrontare le situazioni di bassa acqua che, a causa dei cambiamenti climatici, si verificheranno con maggiore frequenza. E solo allora sar\u00e0 possibile trasferire ulteriore traffico dalla strada alla via d&#8217;acqua.\u201c Cos\u00ec ha commentato il direttore della IHK, Dr. Carsten Meier, i dati attuali sulla navigazione interna nel Saarland, pubblicati dall&#8217;Ufficio Statistico del Saarland.<\/p>\n<h5>Richiesta di ampliamento delle chiuse della Mosella<\/h5>\n<p>La IHK considera altrettanto importante l&#8217;ampliamento delle chiuse della Mosella. Infatti, le strutture, che hanno ormai oltre 60 anni e sono quindi soggette a guasti, rappresentano un ulteriore collo di bottiglia nella rete di navigazione interna sulla strada da e verso il Saarland. \u201ePertanto, vediamo anche qui il governo federale come responsabile di accelerare l&#8217;ampliamento delle chiuse della Mosella. Il piano temporale attuale non \u00e8, a nostro avviso, abbastanza ambizioso\u201c, ha affermato Meier.<\/p>\n<p>La IHK sottolinea che i principali clienti per la navigazione interna sono l&#8217;industria siderurgica del Saarland, le centrali elettriche e l&#8217;industria delle costruzioni. Oltre un terzo della quantit\u00e0 di merci movimentate riguarda minerali, pietre e prodotti petroliferi e minerali. Con 700.000 tonnellate seguono materie prime e combustibili come carbone, petrolio greggio e gas naturale.
