ITJ 21-22/2023 – Back to normal
Dear readers,
After the fair is before the fair. Breakbulk Europe in Rotterdam is scheduled just a few weeks after the end of Transport Logistic and Air Cargo Europe in Munich – which means that this issue is accompanied by a hefty Heavylift / Breakbulk Special supplement, which we’ll distribute in Rotterdam.
A great sense of optimism prevailed in Munich, four years after the last staging of the world’s largest logistics trade fair. The organiser, Messe München, counted 2,320 exhibitors from 67 countries (2,374 exhibitors from 63 countries in 2019), and more than 75,000 visitors from 120 countries (63,893 visitors from 125 countries in 2019).
TL was more international than ever this year – 60% of exhibitors; 50% of visitors. Now it wants to take this momentum to Singapore, where the ‘Transport Logistic and Air Cargo Southeast Asia’ trade fair will take place for the first time on 1 – 3 November 2023.
Our Swiss Shipping Guide isn’t published every four years or every two, but every year. The latest edition, hot off the press, gives you an impression of a lively maritime scene in a country without access to the sea, and provides you with details of the businesses in the sector.
Here’s wishing you an inspired read – here and there.
Yours,
Andreas Haug
