New MD for Chep Spain
Supply chain solutions provider Chep has named Javier Sánchez as the new managing director of its Spanish branch, effective 1 January 2025. He will lead the Chep’s strategy in the country, which focuses on digitalisation and ensuring an efficient and sustainable shipment of customers' products by connecting thousands of supply chains in Spain.
A graduate in business administration and management from the Complutense University of Madrid, Sánchez, has a solid track record of more than two decades at Chep, where he has led commercial, logistics and operations departments in countries such as Australia, Spain and Italy.
Prior to this appointment, Sánchez was general manager of Chep Italy from 2022. Vicente Mollá, former MD Spain, takes on the position of senior director of European accounts. (cj)
