DHL GF to welcome new head of air freight
Thomas Mack, executive vice president air freight at DHL Global Forwarding, will take on a new role as senior advisor on 1 October 2023 in preparation for his retirement in October 2024.
The industry veteran will be succeeded as executive vice president air freight by Max Sauberschwarz (pictured), who is currently senior vice president global Starbroker, DHL Global Forwarding’s air charter organisation.
Sauberschwarz will assume the new role as executive vice president and join the global forwarding management board as of 1 October 2023. Sauberschwarz has more than 15 years of experience in logistics and has held several senior management roles in the air freight sector on a global level as well as in Europe and Asia. (cj)
