VTG gains financial expert


Mani Herold has been appointed chief financial officer (CFO) of the VTG Group, an international asset and logistics company with a focus on the rail sector. Herold will take up his new position on 1 April 2025 and complete VTG’s management team. Until then, Björn Schwarten will retain the CFO position on an interim basis.

 

Herold has almost 30 years of international professional experience in both strategic and operational financial management. He comes from the Rodenstock Group, a global provider of medical technology, where as CFO he drove the global transformation of the finance and IT departments.

 

From 2012 to 2016, Herold was CFO of an international business unit of E.ON. Prior to his career as CFO, he worked in investment banking for almost 15 years, advising international clients at Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch in London and Frankfurt. (cj)
