Interim airport director in Alaska


Craig Campbell has agreed to serve as the interim airport manager of Ted Stevens international airport (ANC), in Anchorage AK (USA), until a permanent replacement is found. The position has been vacant since February.

 

Campbell has more than 35 years of experience in the United States Air Force and Alaska Air National Guard. He served as the Alaska Aerospace Corporation’s President and CEO from 2012 to 2018. Additionally, he has more than 15 years of aviation consulting experience, including as project manager for projects in Alaska’s aviation system, and managing projects at Anchorage and Fairbanks airports.

 

ANC is the second-busiest cargo airport in the USA and the fourth-busiest in the world. (cj)
