FedEx picks new MD for Thailand
FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp,. has appointed Sasathorn Phaspinyo as the new managing director of FedEx Express Thailand. He succeeds Tien-Long Woon, who had overseen FedEx operations in Thailand since 2019 and was appointed managing director for the company’s Malaysia operations in 2023.
In his new role, Phaspinyo will lead a team of about 1,400 employees in Thailand. His task will be to build smarter and more sustainable supply chains, as well as an efficient network.
Phaspinyo joined FedEx Thailand as an engineer in 2004 and ascended through the company with various roles in operations management. His most recent role was manager of planning & engineering, where he headed network planning and infrastructure development for Thailand, Vietnam, and Indochina. (cj)
