FedEx names executive vice president
FedEx Corp. has named Gina F. Adams executive vice president, general counsel and secretary, effective 24 September 2024. Accordingly, she will become the general counsel-elect on 1 September and assume the role on 24 September 24. Adams succeeds Mark R. Allen, who will move into a senior advisory role until his retirement on 31 December.
Adams will oversee all legal, security, and government affairs departments worldwide for FedEx Corporation and its subsidiaries. She joined FedEx in 1992 as a managing attorney for international regulatory affairs and progressed through multiple leadership positions in international government and regulatory affairs until her most recent role as corporate vice president, government and regulatory affairs in Washington, DC. Prior to FedEx, Adams served in legal roles within the US department of transportation. (cj)
