Co-CEOs to lead Cargojet
After launching Cargojet 22 years ago as founder and CEO, Ajay Virmani (pictured) will be stepping into the role of executive chairman, effective 1 January 2024. He will focus on strategy, strategic customer partnerships, acquisitions of major assets including aircraft and corporate governance while also acting as a mentor for emerging talent.
Effective 1 January 2024, Pauline Dhillon, currently CCO, and Jamie Porteous, currently chief strategy officer, will be appointed co-chief executive officers (Co-CEOs).
Dhillon and Porteous have been integral executive members of the Cargojet team since its inception 22 years ago. Their commitment and extensive industry knowledge have played pivotal roles in Cargojet’s growth. (cj)
