Changes at Mitsui O.S.K. Lines
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, (MOL; president & CEO: Takeshi Hashimoto) is planning several promotions in its management team. The changes are subject to approval at the annual shareholders’ meeting which will be held on 21 June 2022.
MOL will establish the position of “group executive officer” in addition to executive officers. Former representative director Akihiko Ono will be promoted to director on 1 April 2022, while Toshiaki Tanaka, promoted to executive vice president, will replace him as representative director.
Yutaka Hinooka, Toshinobu Shinoda and Hirotoshi Ushioku have been promoted to senior managing executive officers. Former executive officers Osamu Sakurada, Ryusuke Kimura, Mitsuhisa Tanimoto and Hisashi Umemura have been appointed managing executive officers. (cj)
