Buss HGK: a new managing director in Duisburg
HGK Shipping is restructuring the management of a joint venture which it runs in partnership with Buss at Duisburg's Huckingen port.
In July 2024, the experienced logistics manager Andreas Bögner will join Morten Lund at the head of Buss HGK Logistics, which supplies the Hüttenwerke Krupp-Mannesmann (HKM) plant. In this JV, around 80 employees organise handling and warehousing services for the steel manufacturer.
Bögner has been working for HGK Shipping for more than two decades, holding roles at predecessor organisations such as Imperial Reederei and subsidiaries such as HGK Dry Shipping. In his career, Bögner has focused primarily on inland shipping and heavy goods and project logistics. (cj)
