Budapest Airport celebrates collaboration
Budapest Airport hosted its 14th Annual Gala, celebrating the close collaboration of partnerships which have enabled the airport to remain performant in 2022. Several awards were presented during the ceremony. Turkish Cargo won the prize in the category "Best developing regular freighter operator airline".
Hakan Lokman Yüksel, director cargo sales (Eastern Europe): “Last year our overall cargo traffic at Budapest Airport was close to 15,000 t, which resulted in a 9% increase in capacity. We owe outstanding performance to the hard work of the Turkish Cargo family and our important strategic partnership with the airport.”
Emirates won in the category "Largest capacity operator with wide body aircraft", while Universal Translink Airline - CECZ/Central-European trade and logistics cooperation zone was rewarded the title of "Best developing cargo charter operator". (cj)
