Averitt: two promotions

Averitt has appointed Rich Egan as its new vice president of international solutions. Egan brings over 40 years of experience in the transport industry and has specialised in international logistics since 1990. He will replace Charlie McGee, who is retiring.

Since joining Averitt as director of international solutions in 2019, Egan has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s global logistics strategy.

Averitt has also named Scott Harris as the new regional VP of sales, overseeing Texas. Harris steps into the role following the retirement of Larry Vannatta and brings more than ten years of leadership experience within Averitt.

Harris joined Averitt in 2013 as the director of the company’s Oklahoma City service centre. He later served as the on-site manager for one of Averitt’s dedicated accounts in Vance, Alabama, for six years before being promoted to Houston service centre director in 2022. (cj)
