A new president for NYA
Anacostia Rail Holdings (ARH) has appointed Marlon Taylor as president of its New York & Atlantic Railway (NYA). He succeeds James Bonner, who has been NYA's president since 2016.
Taylor began his career in railroading when he joined ARH-owned Pacific Harbor Line in 1999. In addition to his responsibilities for NYA, he serves industry and community groups including the safety & operations management committee of the Association of American Railroads. He is president of the Railroads of New York and member of the Queens Chamber of Commerce and the leadership council of the Big Brothers and Big Sisters, a non-profit youth monitoring organisation.
Following a brief transitional period, Bonner will be joining the New York, Susquehanna & Western Railway as its president. (cj)
