Zufall gains Iata accreditation for its Haiger branch
Zufall’s office in Haiger (Hesse, Germany) was recently appointed agent of the international air transport association (Iata). It is therefore a recognised partner in a world-wide network of 290 members and 470 strategic partners in the aviation industry.
„Our accreditation as an Iata agent shows that we meet all industry standards. We provide a direct link between our customers and the airlines,” says Torsten Pansegrau, branch manager at Zufall Haiger.
The certificate allows the logistics services provider to expand its airfreight segment: as an Iata agent, the Haiger branch can dispatch its customers’ airfreight consignments directly from the region. The licence facilitates daily cooperation between the team, which is headed by Leon Schmidt, and the airfreight companies, as the provider is now authorised to issue its own air waybills. (mw)
