Ziegler returns to the port of Brussels
After an absence of four years, the Beligian logistics services provider has returned to the port of Brussels. The company moved into a facility with 3,000 sqm of office space, conference rooms, a 5,700 sqm goods warehouse and a 700 sqm workshop. Overall, the facility will employ 80 people that will be gradually relocated from the previous site.
Last week Alain Maron, minister for the environment of the region of Brussels-Capital, visited Ziegler's new headquarters and learnt about the company's efforts to reduce its ecological footprint. For example, Ziegler has committed to make more use of the container terminal in order to promote inland shipping. (mw)
